I've downloaded Jaspe's song and sadly found out that it's not the version from the episode and is really a cover or something. Does anybody have
the version by 2Elements that was used in episode 1-20?

Could someone be so kind to post the version of "Can You Feel It" played in the very first episode, when Babylon is introduced? Thanks a lot!

Please read the welcome topic. The link is there for S1 songs and this song is available for download.
I see this is your first post so please read the board before making a request. |

I did that, i'm not new to forum's so I know how it works, but it's not the version I want. I want the one that's played in the first episode,
it's like a remix and it has some of the Jackson 5 vocals in it.

skeerko wrote:Ok i know i'm replying to an old post but thought this *might* be helpful Velvet - Blue Green (note of course there is also another 'Velvet' song - 'Funky Dancer' (ep12)) Years ago i searched quite a bit for Blue Green (maybe called BlueGreen as one word). Never found it, but did find some info that might be helpful if someone wants to continue searching... There was some relation between the group 'Velvet' and the name 'Nick Blasko' that name led to various other names (one of which was 'Darren Glover' ... note the song 'Resign' in ep19 by this artist) 'Darren Glover' relates back to 'Velvet' and another name 'Kuba' (1 member of Velvet)... some notes: you might see 'Velvet' mislabeled as 'Velvet Collective' on the net http://www.digniti.com - record label for Velvet (appears to be down) http://www.myspace.com/yovelvet - Velvet's myspace http://www.myspace.com/kubaoms - Kuba's myspace http://Kubaoms.com Kuba's website |

I spent some time looking for "Blue Green" by Velvet recently too... | ||
|
... also to no avail.
Searched via every combination of blue, green, velvet, and the audible lyrics, and came up dry. For what it's worth, the lyric bits I was able to convince myself I was sure of included: "your hands together" "and make a" "don't you worry" "move your body" "shining in the night" Hey J486: Several albums by the group Velvet that you pointed out, not including either "Blue Green" or "Funky Dancer," are available here: kufala.com/artists/artistBio.php?sel=3 and here: cdbaby.com/cd/velvetsounds Have any of you guys tried contacting them via myspace or anywhere else and asking flat out about these songs?

flamencanyc wrote:I never tried searching on the lyrics... I checked the links you gave & their myspace again ...Deff looks like the same group (at least that did 'Funky Dancer') since some of the band members are the same (i found a member list some time ago for when they did Funky Dancer) Maybe one of these days when i'm on MySpace i'll ask |

j 486, can you share Devil's brew then. I couldn't find it anywhere for free...
But the performer's name is surely Moe or even Morris. Here's the article about him where Devil's brew mentioned http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe_Koffman

I don't think she actually has the song, I think she meant she has the artist listed as Mo.

the performer's name is surely Moe Yep you're right.. I have my QAF song-info on 2 diff computers - had it as "Mo" on one and had corrected to "Moe" long ago on the other....but somehow missed updating that correction. its fixed now :) I don't think she actually has the song, I think she meant she has the artist listed as Mo. j486 is actually a guy LOL most of the info i have on QAF songs came from searching i did years ago...in some cases i verified that such a artist/song exists (some i found ofcourse weren't right on Showtime's original list and i made corrections on mine... there's still some i (like the members here) found nothing on. I recently started looking around again to see if i could find anything on those "no info" tracks (wish i still had the spare time like i used to LOL). but back to Devil's Brew ... i know it exists .. even have down that saw a file (probably way back in the nap ster days) |
